Former WWE Superstar Virgil reveals he has dementia, and suffered two massive strokes

Former WWE and WCW star Virgil (real name Michael Jones) revealed on Twitter Friday he is suffering from the early stages of dementia.

Virgil, 59, stated that he had been not been feeling well during WrestleMania 38 weekend, and went to the doctor. He said it was at his doctor’s appointment, he also learned that he had suffered two massive strokes, in addition to the dementia diagnosis.

Virgil is best known for his time in WWE during the late eighties as the personal assistant for “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. He also spent time in WCW duirng the mid-nineties as Vincent. He has made some brief appearances in AEW under the name of Soul Train Jones, which he used in the Championship Wrestling Association, in Memphis during the mid-80’s.
