WWE Money in the Bank is moving to a smaller venue

The big news on Thursday is WWE is moving Money in the Bank from Allegiant Stadium to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The company sent out an internal memo on Thursday announcing the change.

WWE is said to be offering ticket holders to the Allegiant Stadium event an exclusive pre-sale to purchase tickets first before the general public. The pre-sale will start on Wednesday, June 1. The Allegiant Stadium tickets will be refunded.

The last time WWE moved a pay-per-view event Wrestlemania VII in 1991, which went from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to the LA Sports Arena, which was a much smaller venue. At the time WWE claimed the change was due to “security issues.”

It should be noted WWE Money in the Bank is running head to head with UFC 276, at the T-Mobile Arena.
