The press conference for WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s “Last Match” was held on Thursday.
Tickets for the event, which has been moved to the Nashville Municipal Auditorium will go on sale Friday, June 24.
The kickoff will start at 6:05 pm ET, and take place live on Sunday, July 31. The event will be available to order through FITE TV.
It was noted during the press conference that Ric Flair’s final robe will be raffled off to raise money with the proceeds going to the First Step Foundation, which is an organization that helps those battling addiction. The raffle opens this Monday at RicFlairsLastMatch.com.
Nashville Deputy Mayor Brenda Haywood stated that Sunday, July 31st will be named Ric Flair Day in Nashville. David Crockett and Jeff Jarrett were also in attendance.
Jim Crockett Promotions and Starrcast have announced two matches are set to take place at Ric Flair’s “Last Match.” – Josh Alexander will defend the IMPACT World Championship against Jacob Fatu. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) will take place.
In addition, NJPW will also take part in the show as well. However it is not known ast of this writing, how the promotion will be involved.
