According to Fightful Select, Karrion Kross coming back to WWE may ultimately have long-term implications on the Universal Title picture in the coming months. Fightful Select also notes the idea is to insert Kross into the Drew McIntyre – Roman Reigns feud, and to be involved in a match for one or both of Roman Reigns’ Undisputed Title belts.
The report also indicates that USA Network has specifically discussed with WWE the idea of returning a top title to Raw more often since Reigns is rarely on Monday night’s. It was also further stated that there was said to be an internal pitch from USA as having an Interim Title appear on Raw.
Kross and Scarlett made a surprise return at the end of Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, attacking Drew McIntyre.
