AEW star Kris Statlander took to Twitter to confirm reports she injured her right knee.
Statlander may have suffered the injury during last Friday’s taping of AEW Dark. During the finish of her match against Sierra, she appeared to have landed awkwardly on her leg. She could be seen grabbing her right knee after delivering a big boot.
Statlander previously suffered a torn ACL to her left knee back in June 2020, which required surgery. She was out of in-ring action until April 2021.
AEW Star Chris posted a picture to Instagram showing a nasty cut above his left eye. The injury appeared to take place when he hit the turn buckles towards the end of his match with Jon Moxley. Jericho did need stitches. According to PWInsider, this was not planned.
