24/7 Championship Thrown Away; Women’s WarGames Match Set For Survivor Series

Nikki Cross defeated Dana Brooke on Monday’s WWE Raw to win the 24/7 Championship. In a backstage segment with Damage CTRL, Cross attempted to throw the belt in the garbage. However the it landed by the trash can instead. This appears to signal the end of the 24/7 Championship.

Brooke had been the 24/7 Champion on WWE programming since July 18. The title did change hands frequently at various house show events over the past several months.

A women’s WarGames Match was set up on Monday’s WWE Raw. It will be Team Belair vs. Team Bayley inside the double ring – double cage at Survivor Series, which takes place at TD Garden in Boston, MA on Saturday, November 26.

Damage CTRL interrupted Belair, Bliss, and Asuka during their segment on Raw, saying that , Belair still has not truly beaten Bayley. Belair then challenged Damage CTRL to a WarGames Match. Cross attacked Belair, Bliss, and Asuka from behind. It was then after Damage CTRL and Cross took out Belair, along with Bliss, and Asuka, Bayley accepted Belair’s challenge.

Belair’s team will include Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and two partners who have yet to be named. Bayley’s team includes Dakota Kai & IYO SKY, Nikki Cross and one more member yet to revealed.

Belair retained the Raw Women’s Championship against Bayley in a Last Woman Standing match at last Saturday’s Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. After interference from Cross, Alexa Bliss & Asuka lost the Women’s Tag Team titles to Kai & SKY at the event.
