Report: WWE trying to rebuild tag team division following roster cuts

As first reported by False Finish, then F4WOnline, WWE is reportedly trying to rebuild its tag team division, following roster cuts after WrestleMania 42. It was said WWE is also looking at the possibility of signing teams from other promotions in the near future.

“Sources indicate to False Finish that WWE is currently in the process of trying to help rebuild the tag team division from within while also looking at the possibility of signing tag teams from other promotions in the near future”, False Finish writes.

WWE released several tag teams and tag team wrestlers, including the Wyatt Sicks, Motor City Machine Guns and Tonga Loa and Jeff Cobb. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston also left WWE, which was a mutual decision after reportedly being asked to take a pay cut from their seven-figure per year salaries.
