According to The Ringer founder Bill Simmons the previously planned docuseries on the returning WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is still in the works for Netflix.
During Simmons’ podcast that aired last Friday, there was a segment with Ariel Helwani, Simmons, who is an executive producer on the project, said “I’m working on this massive docuseries right now about him, which is, obviously, that keeps evolving…”
Back in July of 2022, it was reported the planned docuseries for Netflix on McMahon was pulled following the allegations of misconduct and his retirement from WWE. This latest word from Simmons confirms the August 2022 report that the project had been revived.
As of this writing, there is no release date or the number of episodes that are planned.
