UPDATED: Top WWE Superstar injured, appeared on SmackDown in a sling

According to PWTorch and then confirmed by F4WOnline, Rousey has aggravated a prior injury. The reports further note that the injury will not keep her from in-ring action at next month’s WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles.

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey appears to have an arm injury.

Rousey was scheduled to team with Shayna Baszler in a tag match against Tegan Nox and Natalya on Friday night’s episode of SmackDown. However, both teams were involved in a brawl ahead of the show.

Baszler and Nox competed in singles competition instead, with Baszler going over. Rousey and Natalya were both at ringside to support their teammate. During the match, you could see Rousey’s arm in a sling. The commentary team noted she was “injured” during the brawl take took place before the show.

As of this writing, it is unknown if Rousey’s injury is real or part of a storyline pertaining to the brawl that took place before the show went on the air.
