International WWE Superstar confirms departure from the company

During a press conference on Monday, WWE NXT Superstar Sarray confirmed a previous report by Tokyo Sports, that she is indeed leaving when her contract expires.

She will go back to using her previous in-ring name of Sareee when she returns to Japan at the Sareee-Ism event on Tuesday, May 16.

Sarray initially signed with WWE back in 2020. However, she was not able to travel to the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She made her debut on the March 17, 2021 episode of NXT, in a win against Zoey Stark. After NXT had been rebranded to NXT 2.0, in 2022, her gimmick was changed where she would be able to transform from a pigtailed schoolgirl to a more glamorous look as a result of a medallion her grandmother gave to her.

Her final match was on the August 2, 2022 episode of NXT where she lost to then NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. She has been absent from WWE NXT TV ever since.
