According to F4WOnline, Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar 3 is reportedly planned for SummerSlam.
Rhodes won the first match at Backlash back on May 6 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Lesnar won the second match at Night of Champions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with a storyline of Rhodes having a broken arm after an attack by Lesnar.
The storyline injury took place back on the May 22 episode of Raw. The injury was way too much for Rhodes and he lost to Lesnar at the Night of Champions PLE, after the referee stopped the match when Rhodes passed out while Lesnar had him locked in an arm bar.
WWE SummerSlam 2023 will take place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, August 5.
As of this writing, per Wrestletix, over 40,000 tickets have been distributed for the event.
