More on Vince McMahon at Monday’s WWE Raw, History made in Hartford

We previously reported on Monday evening, Chairman Vince McMahon, along with several other WWE Executives were backstage for Raw at the XL Center Center in Hartford, CT.

Hartford is just over an hour from WWE Headquarters in Stamford. As previously indicated, this was the first Raw Vince was backstage since the Raw fallout episode for WrestleMania 39 back on April 3.

Fightful Select provided an update noting that a backstage office at the XL Center was set up for Vince to work out of. However, it was said that Vince ended up working in the Gorilla Position, which is where he was reportedly at during WrestleMania 39 weekend.

The report further notes that despite being at Raw on Monday, there was no discussion that was out of the ordinary. The mood with talent and staff was said to be way less hectic than it was for the Raw following WrestleMania. Furthermore, Fightful Select also said the word coming out of Monday’s Raw, is most in the company do not expect Vince to be backstage at television on a regular basis and that he has been just fine with working remotely to make any changes to any of the scripts.

The report from Fightful Select concluded that internal reports from WWE indicate history was made with Monday’s Raw in Hartford, as it was the highest-grossing Raw/SmackDown ever in that market for WWE.
