In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Dana White was asked about rumors of Ronda Rousey possibly returning to the octagon for UFC 300 after finishing a run in WWE.
The UFC President shot down those rumors, however, stating there was “no shot” of such a return, pointing out what Rousey has achieved since she signed with UFC in 2012:
“She’s accomplished everything she set out to do. Her dream was to win a UFC championship, then win a WWE championship, and she’s done it. Now she’s starting a family. Ronda has made so much money, and she’s still making a lot of money in sponsorships.”
Rousey’s last bout in the UFC was in December 2016, before transitioning to a run in WWE that culminated in winning the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships in different reigns, most recently becoming WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Shayna Baszler.
