Edge to auction off ring gear from August 18 SmackDown, proceeds to benefit Sami Zayn’s charity

WWE Hall of Famer Edge is auctioning his ring gear from his match against Sheamus at the August 18 SmackDown, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to benefit Sami Zayn’s Sami For Syria charity.

Edge’s match against Sheamus at the Scotiabank Arena in his hometown of Toronto on was the final match of his current WWE contract. Edge’s current WWE deal expires at the end of September. He had previously stated on social media he has a new contract as is deciding on what he wants to do next. There have been rumors he is headed to AEW, to join up with his long-time friend and former tag team partner Christian Cage.

Sami For Syria is mobile medical clinic is a lifeline for displaced Syrian families, especially for those who live outdoors in internal displacement camps.
