The social media account for Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season posted a video promoting this year’s state-sponsored festival, noting a variety of events including WWE Crown Jewel:
The video noted that Crown Jewel would feature “the participation of John Cena,” who made his return to WWE at the beginning of this month and is set to appear on every SmackDown between now and the end of October.
His return coincides with the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes which have halted most film and television production going forward, allowing for moments like Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to reunite this past Friday on SmackDown.
Before WWE heads to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, they head to Indianapolis for Fastlane on Saturday, October 7.
Crown Jewel takes place on Saturday, November 4, and will stream live on Peacock and WWE Network.
