According to Fightful Select, WWE Superstar Sheamus’ WWE contract is set to expire in the first half of 2024.
The report from Fightful Select also notes that a source implied Sheamus may see his deal come up around the same time Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract would have expired, which is said to be around WrestleMania 40.
Current WWE NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will also see her current contract expired sometime next year.
It was also noted that WWE signed many of their talent to new five-year contracts back in 2019. However, Fightful Select indicates that several contracts that were negotiated after that time period are also set to expire in 2024, or at the end of this year.
The report concluded by saying that 2024 is set to be a big year for pro wrestling as several top talents will become free agents, in what looks to be the biggest number of free agents in possibly pro wrestling history.
