Update on WWE Fastlane; Current lineups for the 9/29 SmackDown and Monday’s Raw

Coming out of Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, John Cena will have a tag team match at Fastlane on Saturday, October 7 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. However, Cena does not have a partner.

Towards the end of Friday night’s SmackDown, Cena had signed a contract for a match with himself against The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. AJ Styles had originally agreed to be Cena’s tag team partner, but was taken out backstage by Sikoa and Jimmy right before the contract signing was set to take place. Styles was then taken away by ambulance. Cena then came down to the ring to confront Sikoa and Jimmy, only to be attacked and laid out by both men.

Cena opened SmackDown by saying he wanted to wrestle. Styles then came out and said that if The Bloodline wanted some, they could get some. Adam Pearce was ready to book the match. However, Paul Heyman said that The Bloodline would agree to the match, as long as it would not happen on Friday night’s SmackDown.
