Triple H, Roman Reigns and more set for next week’s season premiere of WWE SmackDown

WWE has announced that Chief Content Officer Triple H and Roman Reigns are set to appear on next Friday night’s ‘season premiere’ of SmackDown live on FOX.

This will be the first appearance for Reigns on SmackDown, since the August 11 episode of SmackDown, where he was superkicked by Jey Uso, who then looked in the camera and said that he quit SmackDown, The Bloodline and WWE.

During this week’s show, there was a segment with Jimmy Uso complaining to Paul Heyman about the absence of Reigns and how nothing gets done because no one else but Reigns is allowed to make decisions. The segment ended with Heyman being pulled aside by Rhea Ripley as the two, then had a private discussion.

Also scheduled for the October 13 episode of SmackDown is Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) vs. Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch).

Next Friday night’s ‘season premiere’ of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, live on FOX will emanate from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
