According to F4WOnline, Roman Reigns’ next title defense is currently planned to be a rematch against LA Knight.
F4WOnline notes that Reigns vs. Knight, however is not scheduled to take place at the 2024 Royal Rumble. Furthermore, the report says there are people who believe Knight should be in that spot, but Paul Levesque has another plan as of now.
Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship by defeating Knight at Crown Jewel earlier back on November 4, with interference by The Bloodline which cost Knight the match.
On last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Knight defeated Jimmy Uso. After the match, WWE did an angle with Cody Rhodes saving Knight from a beatdown by Uso and Solo Sikoa.
The WWE Royal Rumble is taking place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
