During Friday night’s WWE Tribute To The Troops SmackDown special that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is set to return to the show.
Also on Friday night’s SmackDown, two first-round matches took place for the United States Championship No. 1 Contenders Tournament. On Friday night, in the first round tournament, Santos Escobar defeated Dragon Lee and Bobby Lashley defeated Karrion Kross. Escobar and Lee advance on to the next round.
Next Friday night’s show with the US Championship No. 1 Contenders Tournament, will see Kevin Owens vs. Austin Theory in another first round match. Also announced for next week is Grayson Waller facing an NXT mystery Superstar, who has not yet been announced, in the final-first round tournament match.
Next Friday night’s WWE SmackDown will air live on FOX and take place from the Resch Center, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
