TKO reaches settlement in UFC anti-trust lawsuit

According to an SEC Filing on Wednesday, TKO has settled its antitrust case, costing the company $335 million.

The antitrust lawsuit against the UFC was filed back in 2014, which then became a class action suit.

The antitrust suit included an estimated 1200 fighters that competed in the UFC at least one time between December 16, 2010, through June 30, 2017. They all came together and sued the UFC for lost wages and back pay, claiming that the UFC had signed them into long-term agreements and then bought up all of their competition, stifling the market.

The plaintiffs were seeking between $800 million and $1.6 billion in damages from the UFC.
