As she prepares to take on Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship, Fightful Select has reported that WWE officials are very impressed with the work of Roxanne Perez.
The former champion is set on a collision course with the dominant Valkyria at NXT Stand & Deliver, taking place Saturday, April 6 as part of WrestleMania 40 weekend.
Despite the positive outlook on Perez both on NXT and in previous main roster appearances such as the women’s Royal Rumble match in January, the belief is that she will continue to develop her current character but a main roster call-up is “only a matter of time.”
