Report: More production changes coming to WWE television

According to PWInsider, WWE will be pulling back from much of the augmented reality content they have been using weekly on Raw and SmackDown.

It is being said the plan is for the reality based content to remain, but only on occasion, it is likely only to be seen on premium live events. The report notes one source said that Friday night’s Smackdown is believed to be the last time it will be regularly used on television.

Also per previous reports, including PWInsider, WWE is pulling back on using the larger stage set and Titantron at television shows, in favor for the smaller setup seen on last week’s Raw and Friday’s SmackDown.

PWInsider concludes their report by noting that as part of the changes, Endeavor will also be cutting back on the amount of staff and equipment brought to WWE events. They will also be cutting back on the number of production trucks used at televised events.
