Business Insider has reported that Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer plans to submit a bid for the intellectual property of Hooters in the near future.
A successful bid would allow the parties to create Hooters-branded merchandise for distribution at restaurants, along with retailers and venues in entertainment and gaming.
Real American Beer would license the name back to the restaurants under the potential deal, as the WWE Hall of Famer is reportedly not interested in acquiring or operating the restaurants.
The bid, noted as an all-cash offer, would need to be approved by the parties overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings of Hooters of America that began in late March.
The chain was one of the first to distribute Real American Beer after the brand’s launch in 2024.
