According to a report from Fightful Select, CM Punk did not receive any disciplinary action for swatting a phone out of the hands of a fan in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino during WrestleMania 42 weekend.
The incident came when the fan approached Bayley and AJ Lee in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino shortly after midnight, with some accounts noting that the fan asked Lee for a selfie and attempted to grab her for a hug despite being denied.
Speaking with TMZ Sports under the condition of anonymity, the fan said he understands Punk “wasn’t having the greatest weekend” after losing the title to Roman Reigns, claiming he is trying to show Punk grace.
To date, neither WWE nor Punk have responded regarding the incident.
