"Speedball" Mike Bailey signs contract with IMPACT Wrestling

At a Destiny Wrestling show Sunday in Mississauga, Ontario, IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore offered an IMPACT contract to “Speedball” Mike Bailey, after his match with Josh Alexander. Bailey signed the deal.

In March 2016, Bailey was arrested when he attempted to get into the United States to compete for Evolve. He was banned from entering the US for five years. He he was in the process of obtaining a Visa through CZW at the time of his ban.

Bailey, 31 began his professional wrestling career 2006. He has wrestled most notably for ROH, CZW, PROGRESS Wrestling, Revolution Pro, and wXw. He also holds a fourth degree Taekwondo Black Belt.

Bailey has been engaged to wrestler and valet Veda Scott since November 2020.
