NPWS Internet News Update For Week Of 05/14

Former WWE & WCW Superstar Kevin Nash Defeats Two Opponents, New NPWS Champions, Veteran Star Injured, And More

Hello NPWS fans! This is your weekly update on what’s happened, what is happening now, and what is going to happen soon in the nation’s leading family-friendly pro wrestling promotion, National Pro Wrestling Superstars.

Upcoming Shows This Weekend

This Friday night May 18th, NPWS returns to the Kenilworth, NJ Veterans Center (33 South 21st Street, just off The Boulevard, minutes from the Parkway), with a 7:45pm bell time.
He was a fixture on WWE TV for years… a member of pro wrestling’s famous Samoan family… and the worst place to be when he’s around is behind him, when he’s backing up… he’s former WWE star Rikishi, and he’ll be in the main event when NPWS returns to the Kenilworth Veterans Center.
In addition to Rikishi, lots of regional and local pro mat favorites will also be on the show. “The Love Machine” Nicky Oceans will challenge the newly-crowned NPWS Junior Heavyweight Champion & Jersey Shore Champion “Jersey Shore Jock” Mike Dennis. Another pair of local favorites, “Tough” Tony Scorace & Steve “The Gipper” Gipke, will once again do battle with rival “Too Hot” Steve Scott and his partner “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie. And in what is probably the most bizarre match NPWS ever held, two men will meet where the winner will shave off the beard of the loser, as the big “Hillbilly” Justin Blackwell will take on another big man, “Mr. Varsity” Jeff Noyze. There will also be appearances by “The Cold-Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto, Mister Nick Gregory, Snake-Eyez, luchador Manuel Manny Moore, Lonesome Dove, The Wasp, Alex El Toomey, and much more. Tickets are only $20 for adults and $17 for kids & seniors.

Saturday night May 19th, NPWS makes its first ever appearance at Spotswood, NJ’s Immaculate Conception Church Gym (23 Manalapan Road, minutes from Route 18 and the East Brunswick Mall), with a 7:35pm bell time.
“The Master Of The Stink-Face”… the one and only Rikishi, will make an encore appearance in Spotswood. In addition to Rikishi, there will be plenty of regional and local pro mat favorites on the show that night. Former NPWS Jersey Shore Champion and South Brunswick native The Jersey Kidd and Monroe native “Retro Rocker” Rikki Roxx, collectively known as The Lords Of Rock And Roll, will go after the ultimate prize that night, the NPWS Tag-Team Championship held by the The 2 Rude Dudes (“Corrupted” Corey Havoc & “Rampage” Rogers). NPWS Cruiserweight Champion “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie and “The Love Machine” Nicky Oceans will also see action that night, along with The World Famous TV Wrestling Clown, ladies star Kristi Kiss, northeast veteran Steve “Monsta” Mack, “The Cold-Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto, “The Final Freebird” Damian Darling, Slayer, Eddie “Spaghetti” Franken, Q.T. Marshall, luchador Manuel Manny Moore, Kyle Winant, and much more.Tickets are only $20 for ringside seats and $18 for bleacher seats.

Remaining seats, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
Results From Last Weekend

National Pro Wrestling Superstars did another packed house in the Bayshore area this past weekend when they appeared at St. Catherine’s Parish Hall in North Middletown, NJ. Management wants to thank other so-called promotions (“so-called” as some promotions actually work hard for their money) for talking us up (both good and bad) on the social media scene, as many new fans came out to see what all the National Pro Wrestling Superstars commotion of late was all about and promised to return.
The opening contest saw the winner of the recent Money In The Bank Match, “Jersey Shore Jock” Mike Dennis soundly defeat “The White Urkel” B. Fehrm. NPWS Tag-Team Champion 2 Rude Dudes member “Rampage” Rogers, with manager Barnabas. P. Tightwad, defeated “Outlaw” Shane O’Brien (O’Brien broke his heel and had to be taken out of the ring by ambulance. NPWS management hopes for a speedy recovery and quick return). NPWS Jersey Shore Champion The Jersey Kidd defeated NPWS Junior Heavyweight Champion “The Love Machine” Nicky Oceans in a title-for-title bout and was awarded both the Jersey Shore and the Junior Heavyweight belts.
While Jersey Kidd was still celebrating, “Jersey Shore Jock” Mike Dennis came out to cash in his recently-won “Money In The Bank contract and wrestled The Jersey Kidd. After nearly ten minutes of action, with the help of Nicky Oceans, Mike Dennis pinned The Jersey Kidd to win both titles.
Shock defeated NPWS Heavyweight Champion Ray Ray Marz to become the *NEW* NPWS Heavyweight Champion. In their return grudge match, Chill Will appeared to have defeated NPWS Cruiserweight Champion “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie to win the NPWS Cruiserweight Title, but Nicky Oceans, who trained Chill Will, came into the ring to congratulate him and snuck a chain into his tights and pointed it out the referee, who reversed the decision allowing Smooth to keep the tltle.NPWS Hardcore Champion “Corrupted” Corey Havoc defeated B.F. Saluka in a Hardcore Title Match. In the Main Event, former WWE & WCW World Heavyweight Champion “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash defeated Team Double D (former ECW star “Dastardly” Danny Doring & “The Cold-Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto) in a One-On-Two Handicap Match after a double choke-slam and double pin.

One-time ECW hardcore star and Barnegat native The Equalizer will return to NPWS action after a long absence, joining forces with area star The Green Dragon to face, in a Hardcore Tag-Team Showdown, NPWS Tag-Team Champions The 2 Rude Dudes, “Rampage” Rogers & “Corrupted” Corey Havoc; Havoc also holds the NPWS Hardcore Title, which makes him supremely qualified for this kind of match.
