The Super Rizz Memorial Cup Tournament shines a spotlight on California’s most outstanding wrestlers with an incredible 8 man tournament and special tag team attraction match. It gathers together the most outstanding wrestlers from the west coast who’s lives were greatly impacted by the contributions of DJ Rizz. This tournament and allows them to pay tribute to their fallen friend in his favorite place: Iinside the squared circle. The utterly impressive Super Rizz Memorial Cup trophy is sure to bring out the ultra-competitive nature of the participants.

Joe Appelbaum, known professionally as the monstrous ?Pogo the Clown,? has terrorized wrestling rings around the world for Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW), Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW), and Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling (FMW) in Japan. As a close friend and mentor to Jason ?DJ Rizz? Smith, Joe was deeply moved by the untimely passing of his comrade and thus he conceived this memorial tournament to celebrate the most important gift we?ve all been given: Life. The Super Rizz Memorial Cup Tournament is a fitting tribute to a great friend and inspired performer who gave it his all in the ring and in life.

?With the Jason Lee Smith Scholarship at Liberty High School and the trust fund for his beautiful daughter, I?m doing this to celebrate life, remembrance, and giving back, said Joe Appelbaum, founder of the DJ Rizz Memorial Cup Tournament.
