Report: Match stopped at ROH tapings due to injury

PWInsider is reporting that at Wednesday night’s ROH television tapings at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL.

Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal squared off against Griff Garrison and Cole Karter. The match was stopped after Sydal hit a twisting splash on Karter and landed on his face, and as a result, smashing the back of his head into the mat. It was said that Karter suffered what is believed to have have been a concussion.

Daniels and referee Paul Turner realized something was wrong and called for the ringside doctor – Doc Sampson to look over Karter. Turner called for the bell to end the match.

It was also noted that Karter took a long time to get out of the ring but finally walked out.  Daniels then went on the mic and put over Karter.  Daniels also said this is a dangerous sport and while they wanted to win, they did not want to win that way.
