Matt Cardona to actor Paul Walter Hauser: “I’m a Slammy Award Winner”

Matt Cardona has responded to actor Paul Walter Hauser.

During his acceptance speech on Monday, Hauser performed a rap and claimed he was “about to beat Matt Cardona.” Hauser and Cardona are set to square off at Pro Wrestling Revolver’s Ready or Not event at the Horizon Events Center, which will take place in Clive, Iowa on Saturday, March 16.

Also during his award acceptance speech, Hauser thanked WWE Hall of Famer DDP, name dropped the Wolfpac, Kota Ibushi, and then also said “getting the tables.”

Hauser won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor, for Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at Monday’s ceremony for his role in Black Bird.

Cardona said the following:

“Paul Walter Hauser, congratulations, bro. Congratulations on winning an Emmy. While it’s not uncommon for someone to mention God in their acceptance speech, you chose to mention the Indy God. Not just mention me, no. You called me out. You said you were gonna beat me. You tried to embarrass me. My mom watches the Emmys, bro. While you may be an Emmy Award winner, I am a Slammy Award winner. So at Revolver, March 16, it will be the Emmy Award winner versus the Slammy Award winner. But when I give you a crane kick to the face, a Reboot, and a Radio Silence, they’re gonna start calling me the Emmy God. See you at Revolver, bro.”
