Another network in talks with TNA for Impact Wrestling

Velocity, an all HD channel owned by Discovery, is said to be in talks about possibly bringing TNA’s weekly Impact Wrestling show to the channel once the current agreement between Spike TV and TNA ends according to a report by The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online.

Velocity, formerly known as HD Theater and Discovery HD Theater, launched in 2002 and is available in 52 million American homes (or 45% of homes with television). The channel is carried by DirecTV, Dish Network, Cox, Verizon FiOS, Comcast and AT&T Uverse.

When reached for comment about the possibility of current talks or negotiations with TNA, a spokesperson for Velocity told Wrestleview.com: “Velocity is not commenting on the rumor.”
