WWE Clash at the Castle breaks new record for…

WWE has broke a new record with WWE Clash at Castle tickets sales.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Clash at the Castle has broke WWE’s record for having more fans registering for pre-sale tickets than any event in history, including WrestleMania. It was also noted WWE sold just over 40,000 tickets tickets in the week, after selling 30,000 tickets during the pre-sale and roughly 10,000 for the first day of general public ticket sales.

The article also notes that a true sellout for that stadium would be 69,000. WWE officials were said to be very happy with the tickets sale numbers as this “will be the largest non-WrestleMania gate in the history of pro wrestling and actually beat most WrestleManias for that matter.”

Clash at the Castle will take place on Saturday, September 3rd from Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in Wales, which in southwest Great Britain. This will be WWE’s first major PPV in the United Kingdom since SummerSlam at Wembley Stadium in 1992.
