Roman Reigns uses banned term on WWE SmackDown

WWE is continuing to bring in its new booking era under now Head of Creative in Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Roman Reigns, in his promo he cut during Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, on FOX, used a term that had been banned on WWE programming.

Reigns said that Paul Heyman had been taken to a hospital after receiving an F5 through the announce table from Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. WWE had previously banned talent and the commentary teams from using the term hospital, and using local medical facility instead.

You can hear Reigns using the term hospital at the 1:07 mark in the SmackDown highlight video below:

WWE has reportedly lifted the ban on the use of wrestler and wrestling, which had been considered to be “dirty words” under Vince McMahon.
