Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Great Muta Results From Tokyo

WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The Great Muta in the main event of the Pro Wrestling NOAH New Year’s event show which took place at Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

Sources, including F4WOnline noted Nakamura kicked out of Great Muta’s shining wizard. Nakamura, was hit in the face at one point by Muta’s mist. Nakamura hit Muta with mist of his own and then nailed him with the kinshasa and pinned him for the win.

Post Match: Nakamura thanked Muta, calling him his idol. Nakamura celebrated in the ring briefly and then ran up the ramp and helped Muta walk to the stage entrance. Both posed on the stage as pyro went off, as the show went off the air.

The show aired live on Wrestle Universe.

This was Nakamura’s first match outside of WWE since signing with the company back in 2017. During a press conference, Nakamura stated the agreement between WWE and Pro Wrestling NOAH a “miracle.” He also went on to say that this match would not have taken place under the Vince McMahon regime.

– GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships: Yoshinari Ogawa & Eita defeated YO-HEY & Kzy (c) to win the titles.

– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The Great Muta. Nakamura said “bye bye” to Muta after the match.
