We see the usual intro, the Kevin Kelly welcomes us to the show, where SCUM is already in the ring.

Steve Corino has a mic and says that this week, you moronic, idiotic fans are about to get a treat. Although I wish it was my men, jumping the rails and punching every man, woman & nerd in this crowd and watching on TV. Corino says he is putting out a challenge to Nigel McGuinness. I have 3 of my best, Rhett Titus, Cliff Compton & Jimmy Jacobs. How about you send 3 of your best and we get it on right here and right now!

BJ Whitmer’s music hits and he & C & C run in and go after SCUM, leading to……..

6-Man Tag: S.C.U.M. (“Ruthless” Rhett Titus, Cliff Compton & “The Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs) vs. “The Buzzsaw” BJ Whitmer & the C & C Wrestlefactory (Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander)

All 6 begin brawling as a referee comes in to ring the bell to start this match off. Steve Corino joins Kelly at the commentary table for this match. In the ring, Coleman with a dropkick to Titus, but Jacobs attacks him from behind. Whitmer is sent into the barricade by Compton while C & C double team Jacobs. Coleman with the spinning heel kick/moonsault combo to Compton & Titus, then Alexander with a running dropkick to Titus. Jacobs then hits Alexander with a Spear. Alexander is sent into SCUM’s awaiting boots, then Compton tags in Jacobs and they make a wish on Alexander. Alexander goes to make a tag, but Jacobs stops him, tags in Titus, who hits an elbow to the back of Alexander’s head. Titus with a chinlock as the crowd wills on Alexander. Alexander gets out of a back suplex attempt and tags in Whitmer.

Whitmer with right hands to Titus, followed by a snap slam, but Jacobs breaks up the pin attempt. Whitmer reverses Jacobs and sends him to the outside. Whitmer with the exploder on Titus, but now its Compton who breaks up the pinfall. Whitmer then reverses Compton and sends him to the outside. C & C come in and they both get a head of steam and hit stereo flip dives onto Compton & Jacobs. Referee is checking on the bodies laid out on the outside, but in doing so, Corino hands Titus a chain to use on Whitmer. Whitmer starts to go off the ropes, but is leveled by a chain-assisted right hand by Titus.

Titus removes the evidence and covers Whitmer for the victory.

Winners: S.C.U.M. by pinfall (Chain-Assisted Right Hand)

The assault continues on Whitmer & C & C afterwards until Jay Lethal & Michael Elgin run in to make the save as we go to commercial.

Lethal gets a mic and says that tonight, he made history by securing ROH’s 1st victory against S.C.U.M. in this war. Lethal says he promises that at Border Wars, Steve Corino will be gone from ROH, once and for all.

“Inside Ring of Honor”

Added to Border Wars next week on iPPV is an I Quit Match between BJ Whitmer & Rhett Titus, as well as in tag-team action the C & C Wrestlefactory against ACH & Tadarius Thomas.

We go to comments from Michael Elgin, who faces New Japan’s Karl Anderson next week on TV. Elgin says that reputations can be an intimidating factor. Karl Anderson has a big reputation, he’s known as one of the best in the world. He proved in Japan and he proved it at Supercard of Honor against Roderick Strong, But, Anderson is coming into Michael Elgin’s ring and I have my own reputation. A reputation of being one of the best, one of the strongest and one of the baddest men in ROH. Elgin says that Anderson better come prepared, because the ROH title means everything to me and now that I have a guaranteed title shot, nothing is getting in my way. They say God created all men equal, THEY WERE WRONG!!!

We go to comments from Kyle O’Reilly, who faces Davey Richards next week on TV as well. Kyle says that this match with Davey has been a long time coming. Ever since I met you, I knew I had to go through you to get my place on the mantle. Now its one-on-one, in New York City, our epic encounter. This hunt Davey has been on, well he’s chasing the dragon and it not only includes me, it includes Bobby Fish. Bobby Fish says he wouldn’t miss this match for the world, to watch your past finally catch up with your present. It will not end well for you.

Back from commercial, we see highlights from last year’s Border Wars when Kevin Steen beat Davey Richards to win the ROH World Title. Back to the ring, Nigel McGuinness is in the ring and he introduces Adam Cole & ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe for a contract signing. Both sign the contract and both shake hands after doing so and it seems like the contract signing goes off without a hitch, until we hear the voice of Steve Corino to interrupt these proceedings.

We see SCUM in the crowd as Corino says this is your World Title match at Border Wars? Gimme me a break. Jay Briscoe shouldn’t be defending the title against Adam Cole. He should be defending it against the guy who will be the next ROH champion & the last ROH champion, our savior, referencing Matt Hardy. Corino says no one wants to see this match at Border Wars, so I have a proposal for you, Nigel. How about Jay Briscoe & Adam Cole wrestle the man who separated Jay’s shoulder, the Man-Beast, Rhino and a man who needs no introduction, the next ROH champion and MY best friend, Matt Hardy! Now that is a PPV main event!

Jay gets a mic and says instead of that being a PPV main event, how about we do this right here, right now! Jay removes the contract table and chairs as Nigel agrees to the match, which will be…….NEXT!!!!

Back from commercial, our main event is about to start.

Main Event in a Tag Team Grudge Match: “The Man-Beast” Rhino & “The Self-Proclaimed Icon” Matt Hardy vs. ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe & “The Panama City Playboy” Adam Cole

Cole with forearms, followed by a clothesline. Cole blocks a clothesline and hits a neckbreaker for a nearfall. Hardy rushes over and tags in Rhino. Cole avoids a charge and armdrags Rhino into an armbar. Cole side-steps a backdrop attempt, avoids a clothesline, hits a dropkick to the knee, followed by a flying knee for a nearfall. Tag to Jay, who hits right hands & stomps in the corner on Rhino. “Feed Matt Less” chants start by the crowd as Rhino avoids a Jay charge and hits him with a clothesline. Jay fights back with right hands and tags in Cole. Cole with a forearm, but Rhino comes back with a back elbow. Cole blocks being sent into the corner, nails Hardy off the apron and avoids 2 Rhino charges by getting his boots up both times. Cole goes to the 2nd rope, but Hardy grabs his leg. This allows Rhino to pull Cole off the ropes and send him crashing & burning on the mat. Hardy tags in and goes after Cole with right hands as we go to commercial.

Jay with a running boot and waits for Rhino to get up, but Cole tags himself in. Jay & Cole have words until Hardy comes in from behind. Cole avoids him and goes for a superkick, but Hardy ducks and Cole hits Jay with the superkick by mistake. Cole reverses on Hardy and sends him to the outside, then Rhino goes for the Gore, but Cole side-steps him and Rhino gores Jay.

Cole then rolls up Rhino for the victory.

Winners: Jay Briscoe & “The Panama City Playboy” Adam Cole by pinfall (Roll-Up)

Corino checks on Hardy on the outside while Jay & Cole have words as Cole is explaining to Jay what happened.

We then see a Border Wars hype video before we go to credits.
