Following our recent report, and similar reports from other various media outlets that Dean Malenko, longtime WWE producer and former wrestler quit the company, StarrcastOnFITE announced on Twitter Friday that Malenko is scheduled for an appearance at the Starrcast II Convention in Las Vegas over the Memorial Day Weekend.

NXT referee injured
WWE referee Drake Wuertz announced on Twitter that NXT referee Tom Castro broke his leg during the main event at Thursday night’s NXT show in Omaha, Nebraska.
There is no word on how Castro actually broke his leg.
