WWE Crown Jewel set to return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 31

Crown Jewel announced

WWE’s Arabic website announced that WWE Crown Jewel will be returning to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 31.

This is the fourth event in two years as part of a 10-year deal with the Saudi General Sports Authority.

Advertised to be at the event are WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Mansoor, Rey Mysterio, and The Undertaker. Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair will also be at the event.

Last year’s Crown Jewel event was met with widespread criticism from the wrestling and mainstream medias after the company decided to go ahead with the show in light of the fact that the Saudi Arabian government had Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi murdered.

The company also received criticism earlier this year for bringing Alexa Bliss and Natalya to Super ShowDown only to have the government not approve the match.
