Mauro Ranallo will not be serving as the lead announcer of WWE NXT tonight.
According to a report by POST Wrestling, Ranallo will be missing the event. Ranallo last commentated on the NXT TakeOver: WarGames III event this past Saturday. Paul “Triple H” Levesque stated that Ranallo would call matches at Survivor Series for NXT, but he was replaced by Michael Cole, who announced that Ranallo had blown out his voice from the night before.
Ranallo, who suffers from bipolar depression, had his work criticized on Saturday night by WWE commentator Corey Graves, who thought Ranallo was running over the other commentators during the show.
Ranallo deleted his Twitter account following the show on Saturday.
