In an interview published on this past Friday with Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated, Dana Brooke reveled she signed a new five-year extension with WWE.
“I just signed a new five-year deal in WWE, and part of my goal is to build my own personal brand. And women empowerment is a key in the success of my career and a key for WWE. We can do what the male wrestlers have done over the years, and now women are finally being given that chance. That also means that I get the chance to show what I can do, and I really believe that 2020 is going to be the year that people see a different side of me.”
It was also noted in the interview that Brooke wants to expand her impact outside of the company walls by continuting to spread her message of positivity through working with charirties, anti-bullying groups, while statnding as an advocate for women across the world.
As of this report, WWE has not confirmed the signing, nor are there any further details on the terms of Brooke’s new deal.
Brooke lost to SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a non-title match on this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Brooke joins The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods) and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) who, this past week signed new multi-year extensions with WWE. No terms of those contracts have been revealed.
