WWE NXT is live tonight from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
Scheduled for tonight’s show is the announcement of Adam Cole’s next NXT Championship challenger. WWE COO Triple H announced at WWE World Collide that the challenger would be announced on Wednesday. NXT General Manager William Regal will make the announcement for Adam Cole’s next title match, which will take place at NXT TakeOver: Portland.
Also scheduled for tonight is the finals for the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne will take on The Grizzled Young Veterans of NXT UK. The winners of the tournament will face Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly for the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT TakeOver: Portland.
We will also see Dakota Kai take on Tegan Nox. Kai viciously attacked Nox at NXT TakeOver: WarGames III in November. They were on the same team and considered best friends when Kai attacked her. Nox was out with a knee injury, but recently returned.
