WWE Superstar Roman Reigns confirms why he has not been competing in the ring

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns did a recent interview with TMZ, confirming that he has not been competing in a WWE due to the fact that he has two newborn twins that were born right after Elimination Chamber.  There was speculation that he had not been competing due to his own health.

He noted that he wants to make sure his newborn twins are protected from being exposed to anything. He said he had to make that choice for his kids, given that they are so young.

Reigns also said everyone seems to believes he isn’t competing because of his health, but explained his immune system is currently fine, and that he did check with his doctor and was told the medication he is taking to keep his leukemia in remission is not hurting his immune system.

He did say that it is weird to see the show in front of no one since they sell the atmosphere of the show and you want to perform in front of a hot “home crowd” every week.

Reigns did admit he wants to get back to work, and back to normal.  However, he has an obligation to his family and feels it’s important to set an example with his actions because his family comes first.

When asked if he would lock down a specific date for his return, he said he didn’t want to lock down anything, and they are all taking it all day by day with COVID-19 as there is a new normal now. He then went on to say they are gathering all the information so that the most informed decision possible can be made.

Reigns closed by saying that it’s tough not to perform and he wants to get back to normal and perform as soon as possible.
