According to a new report from PWInsider, former EVOLVE star Leon Ruff has been signed to a WWE NXT contract.
Also according to the same report, Ruff is the first of several EVOLVE stars signed to a deal following the purchase of EVOLVE by WWE. It was also noted in the report that contracts of the EVOLVE stars were not included as part of the EVOLVE’s acquisition by WWE.
In addtion, the same report indicates that on July 28 WWNLive removed all Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE content from their website, as WWE is now in possession of those video libraries.
Ruff has made the following past appearances on WWE television:
— Tag Team match with partner Adrian Alanis against The Forgotten Sons on the December 4, 2019 episode of WWE NXT
— Singles match against Aleister Black on the March 19, 2020 episode of Main Event
— Singles match against Aleister Black on the March 23, 2020 episode of Raw
— Singles match against Karrion Kross on the May 6, 2020 episode of WWE NXT
— Singles match Tomasso Ciampa on the May 27, 2020 episode of WWE NXT
