Further details about Jeff Hardy’s contract

Last week, Jeff Hardy announced in an interview that he had re-signed with WWE, though further details were not made available.

PWInsider is reporting that the current Intercontinental Champion’s new contract is believed to be in the 2 to 3 year range. This new contract includes time that was added to Hardy’s contract following his knee injury where he was not able to compete.

The original deal with the injury time added on was set to expire in 2021. The exact end date of his new contract is not known.

WWE had previously been signing individuals to 5-year deals.

Hardy will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles and Sami Zayn in a Ladder Match this Sunday at WWE Clash of Champions.
