CNN Host and former WWE Raw Guest Larry King passes away at age 87

Legendary Television and radio host, Larry King, has passed at age 87.

King passed early this morning at  Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. No cause of death was given for his death.  However, CNN reported earlier this month he had been hospitalized due to contracting COVID-19.

Lawrence Harvey Zeiger, was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 19, 1933.  He won  two Peabodys, Emmy Award, and 10 Cable ACE Awards.

Over the years in television, King interviewed numerous talent from the wrestling world, including Vince McMahon, Bruno Sammartino, Steve Austin and John Cena.

King made a guest appearance on WWE Monday Night back in 2012 where he had segments with with The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, and Kane (watch above).

On June 29, 2010 after 25 years, King stepped down as the host of Larry King Live on CNN. He would still remain with CNN, hosting occasional TV specials. However, On February 17, 2012, CNN announced that King would no longer host any specials on their news network.

In March 2012, King co-founded Ora TV with Mexican business magnate Carlos Slim. Ora TV signed a multi-year deal with Hulu to exclusively carry Larry King Now.
