A fan in the Charleston area took to Twitter with a thread that touched on his disappointment in finding that he and his son could no longer make an event in the area:
In the midst of replies pointing out the folly of these tweets, the fan did note the unlikelihood of anything being done about the situation…but that did not stop Cody Rhodes from reaching out all the same, quoting the first tweet from the fan to respond:
