WWE has announced that Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura will square off on next week’s episode of Raw.
During last week’s Raw, Nakamura revealed that Rhodes was who he was talking about in his recent vignette’s. After Rhodes announced that he was entering the 2024 Royal Rumble, the lights in the area went out and Nakamura appeared in a vignette on the video screen. After the lights came back on, Nakamura was in ring standing behind Rhodes. As he turned around, Nakamura spit red mist in his face.
On this Monday’s show, Cody called Nakamura out, who appeared on the video screen and said he and Rhodes have had similar paths. Nakamura then went on to say that he will finish Rhodes’ story. how he and Cody had followed similar paths.
Also set for next week’s show is CM Punk.
Next Monday’s WWE Raw will air live on the USA Network and take place from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
Punk is also set to appear on this Friday night’s Tribute to the Troops SmackDown special on FOX. The show will take place live from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, RI.
