WWE has announced that two-time 2024 Grammy nominees The War and Treaty will be the musical guests, performing live at this Friday night’s WWE SmackDown Tribute to the Troops special, live on FOX.
The duo is husband and wife singer-songwriters Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter. The couple’s debut studio album “Healing Tide” received critical acclaim upon its release back in 2018.
Last year, The War and Treaty became the first African-American duo to be nominated for the Country Music Association Duo of the Year. They received two nominations at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
