During the October 4, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown, the 47-year old former WWE Champion suffered a Lisfranc injury during his return match against Carmelo Hayes.
Styles responded to a fan, indicating that the recovery from his injury has been challenging.
A Lisfranc injury is a foot injury which damages the ligaments or bones in the midfoot. The injury can range from mild to severe.
