During today’s broadcast of SmackDown airing internationally on Netflix, WWE confirmed that the show would return to a two-hour format next week.
The show will be taped on June 30 when WWE heads to the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for Raw the same night due to the Fourth of July holiday falling on Friday.
This marks the first two-hour SmackDown since the beginning of 2025, and is expected to be the format going forward with USA Network premiering a new original series in the 10:00 PM Eastern timeslot on August 15.
