On the 3/14 edition of ROH on HonorClub, Eddie Kingston was featured in a vignette calling out Mark Briscoe.
The ROH World Champion referenced Briscoe not receiving his shot at the title last year due to injury, challenging him to a match at Supercard of Honor for the title as a chance to show their ‘beautiful art of wrestling.’
The match was quickly announced by the company on social media, confirming the marquee bout for a show at the ‘birthplace’ of ROH:
The ROH title match comes after AEW announced a Continental Championship bout between Kingston and Kazuchika Okada for this Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite.
ROH Supercard of Honor takes place Friday, April 5 from The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
